Measuring 81 cm in diameter, it is an exceptionally large fixture designed to anchor a room. The lamp features a shallow, convex dome shade (reminiscent of a flying saucer) with a mirror-polished chrome exterior that reflects its surroundings, making the lamp almost disappear into the room while simultaneously commanding attention. The shade hangs from a sleek, white-painted metal tube stem, a signature detail of Danish high-end lighting from the 1970s.
