The cast sits atop a black, veined marble base with minimal chipping. On the back edge of the rug, Leonardo Secchi's signature 42 is engraved in cursive. In good condition. The marble base alone measures 2 x 40 x 28.5 cm. The bronze alone measures 34.5 – 34 x 23.2 cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
