The Florence Knoll coffee table, designed to furnish the new interiors of postwar America, is a scaled-down translation of the lines, gestures, and materials of modern architecture. Consistent with all her designs, the table possesses a restrained geometric presence that reflects the rational approach to design that Florence Knoll learned from Mies van der Rohe. Tabletop: 15 mm thick glass or 20 mm thick marble. The clear polyester finish on the marble tabletop also protects against stains.
Base: Square-section frame and legs in welded and polished chrome steel.
Note: The KnollStudio logo and Florence Knoll's signature are printed on the base of the structure.
