The design is structured around an octagonal brass frame with softly faceted edges, enclosing a white duplex opaline glass diffuser that produces a warm, even, and highly atmospheric light. The brass structure shows an original, beautifully aged patina, with natural oxidation and tonal variations developed over time. This surface character is not only intact but highly desirable, enhancing the sculptural depth and authenticity of the pieces. The screws, mounting elements, and internal structure are all original, consistent with period production. When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses light softly across the surface, emphasizing the geometric silhouette and creating a subtle halo effect against the wall.
