These are exquisitely crafted works, created using the refined technique of painting on copper, as certified by the original label on the back.

Subject and Style: The works depict two landscape views in a Romantic style, with ancient turreted ruins immersed in vegetation and hilly backdrops. The oval-shaped paintings are set in imposing gilded wooden frames, richly embossed with scroll and foliage motifs in the Baroque/Rococo style. One of the paintings features a signature at the bottom, which is difficult to interpret (possibly B "Ronel?").

Material and Finish: The technique used is "Oil on Copper," appreciated for the brilliance and durability it imparts to the colors. The frames are gilded and covered with protective glass. The back is finished with an elegant red velvet lining.
