This impressive pair of vintage wall sconces exemplifies the bold, architectural spirit of late 20th-century postmodern and Space Age lighting design. Each fixture features a striking geometric composition: a tall vertical central rod supports three parallel hanging bars, intersected by horizontal L-shaped arms that create a dynamic cruciform silhouette. A prominent spherical element at the core adds reflective depth and visual balance, turning the piece into a sculptural object that plays beautifully with light and shadow.
Reminiscent of European avant-garde workshops from the 1970s–1980s (influences similar to Italian or as Stilnovo, or anonymous postmodern designers), the design blends minimalist precision with playful boldness.
