The House of the Faun is one of the largest and most luxurious residences in Pompeii. This residence features numerous decorative themes, including Dionysian motifs, such as the statue of the Dancing Faun, from which the house takes its name. The original sculpture is preserved in the permanent collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. See less
