It depicts the overlapping profiles of the four great poets of italian literature (tasso, ariosto, petrarca, and dante) crowned with laurel wreaths, surmounted by the embossed inscription "tasso - ariosto - petrarca - dante" and flanked by decorative garlands. Cast in dark patina, it features the original ring on the back for wall mounting.
