The work faithfully reproduces the sculptural language of the renowned Della Robbia workshop, inspired by the historic frieze of the Ospedale del Ceppo in Pistoia ("Works of Mercy"). The dynamically modeled majolica figures are enhanced by a brilliant polychrome glaze in classic shades of white, blue, and yellow, mounted on a sturdy dark wood panel that serves as both background and framework.
