the "q4" was the project name (yard number 736) for the ship during its construction at the john brown & co shipyard in clydebank, scotland, in the 1960s. The name was used until queen elizabeth ii officially launched and named the liner queen elizabeth 2 in september 1967.

the mirror is an original signage from one on the qe2 stairwells.

it served as a deck identifier for deck four in the ship. The number 4 is prominently featured with the cunard q logo integrated above it.
