Rectangular solid oak table from the Auvergne region, dating to around 1900, originally designed as a rural work table for food preparation or farm use. The thick top shows a rich aged patina with visible wear, tool marks, and subtle irregularities from long-term use.
The apron features two original drawers with carved wooden knobs, offering practical storage. The straight-legged base, connected by low stretchers, ensures excellent stability and reflects a purely functional construction.
Today, the table works equally well as a console, kitchen table, display surface, or occasional desk.
