This is a lovey garden scene, Afternoon Tea, water color by Artist Beverly Erschell. This painting captures the essence of a moment we all want to be part of.
The painting is in excellent condition. ( The back side of this paining has a nice pencil study she did for another painting of a lovely drawing room set for tea.) Kind of an extra layer of richness - just knowing it is there.

Beverly Erschell (1934- 2023) Is well-recognized in the Cincinnati area and beyond as a painter of exceptional talent. Her expressive and lush oil paintings have received much public and critical acclaim, and are well-represented in numerous private, corporate and museum collections.
Beverly Erschell earned a bachelor of fine arts in 1969 and a master of fine arts in 1971 from the University of Cincinnati (DAAP), after graduating from Stephens College with her Associate of Arts degree in 1954 and studying for two and a half years at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. While continuing her painting, she taught at Northern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati and the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
She has developed an extensive exhibition history that includes such local and regional venues as the Contemporary Arts Center, Closson's Gallery, and the Dayton Art Museum. Ershell’s artwork has been exhibited nationally at Walter Wickiser Gallery, New York, NY; VenableNeslage Gallery, Washington, D.C.; Sherry French Gallery, Boca Raton, FL; and the David Dike Gallery in Dallas, TX.
Her work is represented in numerous private, corporate, and museum collections including: Cincinnati Art Museum, Dayton Art Museum, American Financial, Frisch's, Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati Financial, Cincinnati Bell, Corpex, and the University of Cincinnati. See less
