This set features a beautifully crafted conical lidded basket resting on an oval large woven tray/basket. Both pieces are meticulously hand-woven from natural plant fibers, displaying intricate geometric patterns in contrasting light beige and dark brown tones. The lidded basket, known as “agaseki” traditionally serves as storage to ceremonial use, while the accompanying tray provides a complementary decorative base or can be an additional functional element. Its vintage, artisanal appeal makes it a unique and elegant addition to any home decor. The agaseki basket and lid measures 8 1/2” tall by 4 1/2” wide.
