Co. 1896 sterling silver ring or pin dish with chased and repousse floral rim and love birds medallion. Absolutely beautiful details from a top quality know company. Marked on back with Wendell’s trademark then sterling and 531. Front has chased and repousse rim in Wendell’s 1896 floral pattern and love birds medallion in the center of the dish. Engraved initials on left “ESW” and date of “Aug 96” on the right side. Dish does have some tarnish on finish that will clean up. People have different preferences on patina and finish’s so I do not clean up or polish items I leave them as I find them. I believe it would polish up quite easy if that is what you wanted so I did rub on the back corner lightly for about 20 seconds around the trademark and writing to show how some polishing would remove the tarnish.
