Periwinkle blue and tan vintage Turkish Oushak rug with layered medallion, Keivan Woven Arts / rug tu-ugu-95167, country of origin / type: Turkey / Oushak, circa 1940s
This vintage Turkish Oushak carpet (circa mid-20th century) features a sub-geometric central medallion design, as well as patterns of smaller elements in the cornices, and in the surrounding borders. The rug's qualities are enhanced by its particularly soft and lustrous wool. Colors include periwinkle tan, ivory, and chocolate brown.
