The … Read more Elegant hand-crafted ashtray dating to the mid-20th century, made of clear Murano glass and enriched with delicate gold flecks. The design of this refined bowl/ashtray is attributed to the Barovier manufactory and represents a classic example of Murano glass production from this period. The piece features an organic form inspired by a blooming flower—most likely an orchid—evident in the unmistakable shape of the removable central pistil. Crafted in twisted glass, the pistil functions much like a mortar pestle, allowing cigarettes and cigars to be safely extinguished.

This ashtray beautifully combines sculptural elegance with practical functionality. The transparent glass highlights the exceptional Murano craftsmanship, while the gold inclusions add depth, warmth, and luminosity to the overall design.
