Known for his precision and delicate coloring, these prints capture the romantic essence of classical French gardens. The set includes three distinct floral compositions, each labeled in elegant French script: Rose ponceau du Bengale et Pervenche (Bengal Rose and Periwinkle); Oreilles d’Ours et Poirier du Japon (Bear's Ears and Japanese Pear) and Astromeria, Géranium et Pensée (Alstroemeria, Geranium, and Pansy).

Each print is housed in a heavy, ornate gilt wood frame with deep scrolling flourishes and beaded detailing behind glass. A rich, deep emerald green sueded mat provides a dramatic backdrop, highlighted by a secondary burgundy and gold fillet that draws the eye directly to the floral details.

Please note that while all three frames share the same grand scale and golden finish, two frames feature a classic acanthus leaf pattern, while the third (featuring the Oreilles d’Ours) features a complementary Greek key inner border and it is .25" shorter than the other two, adding a touch of curated, "collected over time" character to the set.
