Early American Federal-style four-drawer chest of drawers dating to the 1840s. This antique chest features classic Federal proportions, refined simplicity, and quality 19th-century craftsmanship.
Constructed with a two-board top and single-board side panels, the piece reflects traditional early American cabinetmaking methods. All drawers retain their original locks, while the brass drawer pulls are non-original added early in the piece’s history. The chest stands on elegant turned legs, adding lightness and balance to its form.
