Robert Olsen, Notebook Page (Gas Pump), 2003. This is a unique two page notebook work (diptych) executed in oil, pencil, and watercolor on paper, and presented framed behind glass. The piece combines a painted gasoline pump scene with accompanying notebook style notes and diagrams, and it has a clean, graphic, contemporary feel.
Artwork size is 9.25 x 6.5 inches per page. Framed size is 16.5 x 12.5 x 1.25 inches. Signed by the artist on the lower margin. Originally from Vielmetter Los Angeles (Gallery Inventory #OLS211). Includes the original Vielmetter gallery printout for documentation. Provenance: gifted to current owner.
