Each come with three adjustable shelves and solidly constructed and spacious bottom drawer with dovetail construction and drop-pull handles.

The original owner custom ordered these pine wood bookcases from Jasper Cabinet Company, a now retired furniture manufacturer out of Jasper, Indiana, that was known for their high-quality and meticulous craftsmanship beginning in 1904. These pieces were to be adorned with a cafe-au-lait color finish, with a crackled topcoat that appears aged, but is smooth to the touch. The color can best be described as butternut or buttercup topcoat over a sienna or cinnamon basecoat.
