Or so the story goes, as told by Alexander Pushkin and reimagined cinematically by Ukranian director Aleksandr Ptushko. Here it is interpreted as a Cuban movie poster in wonderful midcentury style. This print is from a 1970 compilation of Cuban posters by Dugald Stermer. Rendered in bold hues of red, orange, purple, orange and green, it is in excellent condition, as pictured, and matted in a 16" x 20" pH neutral mat for ease of framing. And they lived happily ever after? See less
