A fine antique Bohemian glass tumbler cup or mug.
The tumbler is a central European Historicism Period reproduction of a Middle Ages 'Waldglas Becher', having a flared lip, folded foot, and pushed up pontil mark.
The circumference is engraved with fine grape vine and leaf designs and 2 birds.
Provenance: By repute, from the estate of Catherine Spencer Eddy Beveridge (who was a Socialite and Philanthropist, wife of Senator Beveridge of Indiana, and the niece of Marshall Field) and by descent in her family.
Simply a terrific cup!
