moreThis fine art print was inspired by coastal nautical flags using red, blue, yellow, black, and white color only. Digitally printed on archival watercolor paper and sold individually, coordinating prints by Melinda Cox, Creative Director of Balanced Design Studio, are available in blue and in an additional black colorway to combine as pairs or groupings of bold color. They are available in four sizes.
The prints "Modern Nautical Blue Block A" and "Modern Nautical Blue Block B" were designed as companions to this piece. An additional 3 prints, using black instead of blue are also available. Prints can be combined into "double blocks" for larger wall spaces.
Using the highest quality printing available, these prints have superb color saturation. Made to order, the prints are shipped unframed in a tube and are available in four sizes. Each print is hand signed by Melinda Cox.
About the artist:
Melinda Cox is the Creative Director of Balanced Design: Modern Patterns / Traditional Craftsmanship/ Made in the USA fabrics, rugs and fine art prints. An artist at the intersection of minimalism and graphic pattern, her work can be seen in both commercial projects and private residences throughout the USA and has appeared in numerous national and international publications. Her fine art prints are represented by Candita Clayton Gallery.
Artist Statement:
I see the world in simple shapes and powerful colors. I see patterns. Whether as a print designer, a graphic designer, a textile designer, or a rug designer, I take a minimalist approach to using color, shape and form. My work has been called daring, bold, whimsical and happy, and is inspired by any simple shape, like a bird’s foot imprinted in the sand. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Smaller items are typically delivered within 2 weeks of the purchase date, while larger items and furniture may take up to 6 weeks for delivery.

- Local pickup allows customers to inspect an item at the time of pickup and avoid shipping costs.
