The image is constructed by layering areas of bold colors—acid green, bright yellow, red, and pink—combined with a visible mechanical halftone pattern. The facial details are intentionally fragmented, with areas of saturation, shifting, and irregular texture, hallmarks of Warhol's screen printing technique. The flat areas of color exhibit variations in inking and textural effects, particularly visible in the hair and facial contours, confirming a printing process involving multiple screens.
