He designed the metal bases for their joint creations, combining structural rigor with artistic freedom.

This pair of side tables is a characteristic example. Each table rests on a slender black lacquered iron frame, supporting a removable top composed of glazed stoneware tiles in vibrant yellow tones. The deliberately irregular mosaic composition plays on rhythm and the vibrancy of color, a signature of Jolain's work.

These pieces are emblematic of the Atelier Jolain's production, at the crossroads of artistic ceramics and post-war decorative furniture.
