It is presented in a whitewashed wood frame enhanced with fine gilding from the same period, 1950. It is signed by the artist, Claude Houal, in the lower left corner. The back is cardboard. It is one of a set of four small watercolors representing Breton scenes by the same artist, all framed in identical frames.
