A beautiful moody palette highlights the intensity and drama of the scene. Signed bottom right. Dated en verso, July 20, 1969, along with some annotations written in French. Framed behind glass.

About the artist:
Fernand Auger (1922-2005)-Auger studied at L’École des Beaux Arts of Québec and was one of the first artists to be featured at Québec City’s renowned Zanettin Gallery. He created in various mediums, but was best known for his watercolor landscapes.
