Stunning Antique Early 20th Century Engraved Chinese Brass Opium Tray With Scalloped Rim. This lovely brass tray is a fine example of Chinese export metalwork with intricately engraved tranquil scene of three women in a garden / courtyard. The scene contains traditional motifs such a bamboo which symbolizes resilience and longevity. The tray also features an engraved border with detailed floral designs and vertical walls with delicately scalloped edge. A very elegant decorative piece with wonderful history.
The tray is stamped, "Made in China" on underside.
