Antique Original Signed Italian Watercolor "Pasticcere Ambulante"
Framed & Matted
This Italian street cries watercolor was created in Italy during the early 20th century. The painting features a traveling vendor selling pastries. These types of tradesmen, known as street cries, were a common sight in Italian cities and villages during that time. The painting has a marbled mat and a double-molded gold-tone frame. It is under glass. There is a hook for hanging on the back. The watercolor is signed with the artist's initials L.E. It is marked "made in Italy" on two sections of the back.
Measures ~ 16 1/4" H x 14" L x 1" D.
It is in excellent antique condition. The watercolor is without tears, rips, or stains. The outside frame has a rustic and weathered look. Please view the photographs.
