Pair of metal lamps circa 1970
Stunning, large lamp bases in the form of a twisted, silver-plated column, fitted with two custom-made tubular shades covered in textured, burnished gold fabric.
Their generous proportions give them a very modern look, counterbalancing the somewhat neoclassical shape of the base. The metal has a beautiful sheen, and the contrast between the gilt shades and the silver base is striking.
Clean and functional wiring: E27 bulb socket, black push-button cord and plug. Heavy pieces (3 kg each). Provides a lovely, warm light.
