René Jules Lalique (Alas, department of Marne, France, April 6, 1860 - Paris, May 1, 1945) was a master glassmaker and French jeweler. He is buried in the Cemetery of Père-Lachaise.
He had great recognition for his original creations of jewelry, perfume bottles, glasses, candlesticks, watches, etc., within the modernist style (Art Nouveau and Art Deco).
