This 1960s teak display cabinet is a beautiful example of Danish modern design. Designed by Omann Jun for his eponymous furniture workshop, it combines craftsmanship, proportion, and the use of materials in a subtle and timeless design. The body is made entirely of teak and elegantly mitered, creating a refined and strong construction. The slender glass door hangs on original gold-colored brass hardware. The handle is concealed in the frame, a subtle detail that contributes to the minimalist character. Behind the door are three original shelves, height-adjustable using the original brass brackets. The base is slightly recessed from the cabinet, giving the whole a light and balanced appearance. The cabinet has been professionally and carefully renovated in our workshop. Old layers of maintenance have been removed, the wood has been hand-sanded, and then treated and preserved with a high-quality matte furniture oil. The cabinet is in very good condition and is ready for immediate use.
