A pair of murano glass and brass chandeliers, made in the 1940s and attributed to the venetian manufacturer barovier & toso.
the central structure features a brass ring from which a transparent torchon glass arch extends, framing a handkerchief-shaped glass bowl with a mesh motif in the center.
the ensemble is embellished with glass knobs.
illuminated by a central light. The electrical system has been replaced, equipped with a grounding wire, with an e27 central light compatible with e26 bulbs for the us market.
the brass parts have been cleaned of rust and polished, maintaining the original patina. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
