Elegant modernist earrings by MAZ, crafted in 14K yellow gold and dating to circa 1980. These sculptural earrings feature bold octagonal mother-of-pearl plaques, centered with oval cabochon rubies totaling approximately 3.00 carats. The design is accented with four cabochon emeralds totaling approximately 0.20 carats, adding rich color contrast.
Measuring 1 inch by 7/8 inch and weighing 15.45 grams, the earrings have a substantial yet comfortable feel. They are fitted with secure clip-back level-back closures, designed to sit flat and balanced on the ear. Signed MAZ on the reverse.
