This portrait of Josephine Chuey fits nicely amongst a group of photographs taken around the same time by Teske who was commissioned by the Chuey Estate to photograph Josephine. They must have been pleased with the outcome as this image which was custom printed and mounted by Teske was made available after both Josephine and her late husband Bob passed.
In its entirety it measures 15 x 22" while the print itself is 6.75 x 9.5" and hand mounted by Teske who drew a custom border around the image as per his personal aesthetic. This ephemeral portrait shows Josephine in a contemplative state.
