This one of a kind image measures 7.75 x 9" and is mounted and signed by Edmund Teske. He often times mounted his photographs to thick cardstock like paper and this image is no exception.
This particular image was purchased from the Chuey Estate in LA. Not only were the Chuey's artists in their own right they also lived in what has become an iconic home that often goes by the name The Neutra House after the architect Richard Neutra who designed it.
They were friends and customers of Teske who for a time paid the bills by working for the famed Mid Century Modern American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Spending formative years living in a studio designed by Wright in LA. He went on to pioneer solarization and popularize the use of double exposures created in the darkroom.
Most all of Teske's work is limited to singular editions because of his processes that prohibited authentic reproductions. This even in the age of negatives makes each piece exceedingly special. This is an opportunity to own a special piece created by a once in a generation artist.
