This stunning modernist teardrop flush mount chandelier was hand blown in Murano Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a circular polished brass canopy with a wealth of Murano teardrop obelisks suspended at staggered heights via fine link brass chains. The obelisks are embedded with a wealth of 24kt gold flecks, echoing the warm tonality of the brass. With its clean modernist lines and refined color palate, this fixture would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The fixture accommodates eight candelabra based bulbs offering up to 480 watts of light.
