About Steuben: Founded in 1903 in Corning, New York, Steuben became synonymous with American luxury crystal—celebrated for exceptional clarity, refined finishing, and museum-quality design. Steuben was acquired by Corning Glass Works in 1918, helping establish its enduring legacy in fine crystal.

Designer bio (brief): James Archibald Houston (1921–2005) was a Canadian artist and designer who joined Steuben in 1962 and helped define the company’s modern era. Excalibur is recognized as a landmark Steuben design that dramatically combines precious metal with crystal.
