It consists of a large, oval shaped platter with decorative pressed glass patterns and a smaller, removable central bowl for dips. This set allows for an elegant presentation of appetizers, making it ideal for parties and gatherings. It also comes with a separate serving bowl and plate. Manufactured in Malaysia by Kedaung Industrial Group (KIG) in the late 1960 into the 1980’s. KIG didn’t give formal names to their patterns, it is widely known as the “Fleur de Lis” or “Sandwich/Trellis” pattern made from pressed glass. This features a distinctive combination of a scroll or floral band near the rim and a diamond trellis pattern in the body. The large tray features an embellishment of a starburst center and has a beautiful gently scalloped rim adding a touch of classic elegance. The tray measures 11 3/4” in diameter by 2 1/2” tall. The accompanying dip bowl measures 4 1/2” in diameter by 2 1/8” tall. These are in excellent condition. The separate plate is 7” in diameter and the bowl is 5 1/2” in diameter by 2” tall. See less
