It was manufactured by the prestigious company Vichr & Co., founded by Petr Vichr. This firm was among the top First Republic manufacturers of metal furniture. The factory in Lysá nad Labem was famous for production designed by Rudolf Vichr. His tubular steel designs are now globally recognized and highly valued collector pieces.

The item has undergone a complete restoration process. The tubular chrome-plated steel construction was professionally cleaned to a mirror luster, highlighting the graceful curves and technological sophistication of the era.
