A wistful painting by the young Bruno Bernitz, painted in Berlin. Bernitz later became well-known and respected in East Germany and was a member of, and friends with, the artistic avant-garde. Painted on cardboard, the signature is found in the lower left corner, and the title "Indochina" appears directly on the back of the first layer of cardboard. The painting is preserved in its original frame, which shows some signs of wear. This piece has an attribution mark,
