The lamp features a tall, conical body that gently tapers upward, creating an elegant and well-balanced silhouette. The ceramic base is finished in a soft, muted blue glaze with a subtle sheen. Its surface is richly articulated with vertical incised lines running along most of the body, lending rhythm and visual texture while emphasizing the lamp’s height. Toward the lower section, the decoration transitions into a densely patterned band of oval, hand-impressed motifs, adding depth and tactile interest. A narrower incised band near the upper shoulder echoes this detailing, visually tying the composition together. The underside is stamped with the rörstrand signature and deep-stamped with the number “86,” confirming production in 1986.
