The Wishbone Chair, also known as the CH24 or Y-chair, is an iconic piece of Danish modern design Attributed to Hans J. Wegner in 1949 and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn since 1950. The chair is renowned for its elegant, lightweight structure featuring a distinctive Y-shaped backrest and a hand-woven seat made from approximately 120 meters of durable paper cord.This oak chair is an early example and someone had the seat professionally redone with leather. It can be easily converted to a hand woven seat.
Note: This chair has no label that indicates it is an official Carl Hansen.
