A striking and highly sculptural taxidermy blesbok, beautifully preserved and presented as a full-body mount. Native to Southern Africa, the blesbok is admired for its elegant proportions, rich chestnut-brown coat, distinctive white facial blaze, and dramatic ringed horns — all of which are showcased here with remarkable presence.
This piece features a naturalistic stance and lifelike expression, mounted on a custom rectangular base with textured terrain detailing. The hide displays excellent color variation and natural hair patterning, with visible character marks that speak to age and authenticity. The horns are symmetrical and well-formed, rising in a graceful vertical arc that gives the piece its commanding silhouette.
Equally suited for interior designers, collectors, lodges, libraries, or statement residential spaces, this blesbok brings warmth, history, and undeniable visual impact. Styled against a neutral wall, it reads as sculptural and refined; in a more layered interior, it adds depth and a sense of worldly curiosity.
