Coffee table measures 38 … Read more Sturdy and striking- this is an elegant mid-century -modern statement piece- it's a parsons style shape. Coffee table measures 38 x 38 x 18 high. The legs are 4.25 deep. The 3/8" thick glass sits level with the top of the wood. The bleached/ whitened wood (ash possibly) has been hand-scraped by the artist gently following the wood grain- the overall texture is organic and interesting, and this technique is rarely seen in a furniture application. The corners are mitered. The condition is very good. 1 owner- my mom. See less

The glass is near perfect, but there are a few surface scratches that are due to general use (these are hard to see). The wood (ash) was originally quite light but is a bit darker on the outer surfaces (we think the maid used a dusting or waxing solution that did this); this could be lightly re-sanded to bring back the lighter bleached luster I believe- the original wood tone is visible if one looks below the glass and under the table. But it looks fine the way it is currently. less
