Mike Mozart, also known by the graffiti and street art moniker MiMo, is a prolific American pop artist, toy designer, and corporate illustrator. He is widely recognized for creating commercial children's characters, designing Disney and Uncle Scrooge products for over 45 years, and his association as an early mentor and collaborator to pop artist Alec Monopoly.

MiMo designed a substantial amount of artwork for Alec Monopoly for almost 5 years, creating hundreds of pieces for him. He is a street artist from way back in the 70's and became a Professional Illustrator and Product Designer in the 1980's. He has illustrated over 100 licensed kids' books with Disney, Warner, Ninja Turtles, and dozens more.

This is a fabulous and rare collaboration piece between Peter Keil and MiMo created in 2020. There are only a few works of art that both artists collaborated on, and Bowen Art Reserve owns all of them. This is a rare chance to own (and enjoy) a very rare piece of history.

This is a beautiful piece executed with rare materials, including a myriad of different metal flakes that were sourced by MiMo from six different countries, and acrylic paint, all of which is protected under a luminescent resin finish on board.

It is signed by both artists, and a Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso.

This piece was purchased from both the Keil family and MiMo.

The art is in good condition with wear that is consistent with age. See less
