This intricately carved document and valuable chest is gorgeous and very versatile.
Huanghuali is distinctive because of its beautiful yellowish-red wood and sweet aroma. Huanghuali (Dalbergia odorifera), which translates to “yellow flower pear,” is a slow-growing, small-to-medium-sized tree, and availability of this wood is now becoming increasingly scarce, leading to an increase in prices of huanghuali furniture and decor items.
