Pair of late 19th century Helena Wolfsohn Augustus Rex club Dresden (Meisen style) porcelain lamps. The lamp was converted from a vase in the 1930s. It features hand-painted alternating scenes of "Watteau-style" romantic or gallant and detailed floral sprays with a robin's egg blue glaze. The panels are framed with intricate gold gilding. The vase has a distinct square, bulbous body with an elongated neck and is set on a pierced, brass metal base.
Newly wired with new brass 3 way sockets and cords. (Repair to you of the lamps see close up.) Overall height top of socket 18", porcelain vase height 12", 5" widest. Bottom of each vase Hallmarked.
