Elegant and substantial antique buffet hutch crafted in richly figured burl walnut veneer, dating to the late 19th century (circa 1890–1905). This Continental European piece is strongly influenced by French Louis Revival design, featuring a tall architectural upper case crowned with finials, oval-paneled cabinet doors, and a central open display niche with shelving and a small drawer.
The base offers generous storage with drawers and paneled cupboard doors, topped by its original thick Italian Carrara marble slab with soft gray veining and a shaped edge. An extended wooden serving/work surface adds both functionality and period character. Decorative carved foliate supports and original-style brass escutcheons complete the design.
A striking statement piece ideal for a dining room, bar area, or grand entry, combining decorative presence with practical storage.
