This richly textured landscape depicts a serene mountain river scene with village figures, painted in Sarkissian’s distinctive palette-knife style with expressive impasto brushwork.

The work is signed lower right and inscribed on the verso “Arthur Sarkissian — Tehran 1974.” It also retains its original vintage gallery label from Hagrapetian Art Gallery, located on Naderi Avenue in Tehran.
